She and her husband, Herb, moved into an old cabin in a remote corner of Californias wine country, 45 minutes North of San Francisco. She and her husband soon became a happy little family of 3, bringing Evelyn into the world. Their happiness proved to be short-lived, as Herb received a fatal diagnosis, in his early 30s. Though he fought nobly, the disease won. He passed away during surgery, as Edith and Evelyn waited in the sitting area just down the hall. After only 7 years of marriage, Edith found herself a grieving widow with a small, 6 year old child. The mother and daughter lived privately, and made it through the years without their husband/father, living off Herbs inherited stock from the wine industry. Evelyn felt that losing her father due to illness was an unfair disadvantage to her life, and through the years, at a young age, It left an empty, scarred, angry hole in her heart. One that shaped her character from early on. As Evelyn got older, she spent all of her time alone. She felt no remorse in neglecting her studies or when she stopped playing with the other children in the neighborhood. The only time she would leave her home was when she traveled down to the oceanside by bicycle. She was still a normal girl, just a quiet, introverted one. No one suspected anything, it was just thought to be Evelyns way of coping. In her early teenage years, her mother discovered she was experimenting in local witchcraft. Soon, her isolation was coupled with pentagrams and spiritual studies. By the time Edith was 37, she was diagnosed with Heliophobia and Agoraphobia. Because of her phobias, she eventually moved to the upstairs attic, covering every single window with cloth, blocking natural sunlight light from entering her darkened room. Afraid to live life, her disease and obsessive compulsive disorders only complicated matters worse. Some of her symptoms included wanting nothing to do with people, and avoided being outdoors at all measures. She was not even mentally capable of checking mail from her own box at the end of the driveway. The only person who ever came to visit their cabin in the woods was a local doctor, who would check up on them from time to time. By the time Edith was in her late 80s, her daughter Evelyn, who was in her 50s, was beginning to show signs of a deteriorating mind. Neighbors stated that her depression had worsened, and her vision of reality had become faltered. It was said that she would play games with her mothers mind, locking her in the attic, and tormenting her relentlessly because she believed that demons were living inside of her mothers body. Edith had a hard time accepting her own reality, because she had done everything possible to help raise her daughter the best she could. She believed that her daughters problems were from a combination of lifelong witchcraft, along with potential hereditary disorders. Edith was sane, but her phobias made her thoughts irrational at times, which made her daughter think that she was crazy. Evelyns chemical disorders were all far more than the neighboring families wanted to accept. The home was no longer being cosmetically maintained, having problems of leaking roof tops, broken windows, overgrown vines flowing across the entire home and landscaping, that would begin to spread on to the neighboring properties. She suffered daily with panic and anxiety, but was already accustomed to this way of life.
Answer: Well the characters sound believable but we need more depth, like what are their quirks,way of thinking or reasoning? I can see that Edith has problems but when you write out the story, dont just state the illness make sure you show your readers the problems that she has. I would look forward to this since disorders really fascinate me.

How to socialize and connect with women?
Dear Yahoo Answers, I am a 25-year-old male with no courtship experience. Ive never experienced holding hands, kissing, hugging, flirting, cuddling, and sex that seem to be the norm among people my age. As a result of my full-time job and full-time university, I have almost no time to go out and socialize. Even if I have time during the odd day, I strike a conversation but end up being a NICE GUY, which I dont want. Sometimes I delay my approach and get nervious, which causes my heart to race and my actions are left uncontrolled. Some people I am responsible, hard-working, studious, intelligent - but if I cant socialize properly, my life isnt complete. I need real-life answers on how to improve myself with women. "join a group" "smile" are all cliche, and dont necessarily work in real life. I need hard facts, solid answers, solid results. If youre successful with women, please tell me what needs to be done to fix me. Im not the kind of guy who tells the world his problems, in fact I try my best to avoid it and just show people that I"m happy when inside Im ... on the fence between torn and helpless. What happened to the Yahoo Answers Logo on the Yahoo Toolbar?
i used to have a cool little green astric looking thing that had an arrow on the side so i could check and see if i got new answers or anything. now... for some reason i logged in and all my links were gone and it was back to the default, travel, facebook, economy, etc. etc. and now the only Logo i can get is a red Y w.no arrow. I WANT MY COOL GREEN LOGO BACK has this happened to anybody else? is there any way 2 fix this or choose/edit and get that logo back? my green + sign that i used 2 have @the very far right to add new apps is also gone. i had the same Toolbar w/the same Apps for almost 3 years, and i just want my old Toolbar settings and Logos back. i know Logos change... but ive seen this red Y as a logo for Yahoo Answers before, about 6 mnths ago, and said "glad mine doesnt look like that" Karma. COULD THIS BE BECAUSE I UPDATED MY PC TO WINDOWS 8???
Answer: It looks like the Yahoo Toolbar Team has been busy. The Yahoo toolbar for Internet Explorer and Firefox has been updated. The green plus near the far end of the Yahoo Toolbar has been changed to a black plus. The reason you dont see anything is because the Add Apps icon is no longer on by default. Sign on to Yahoo. Click the gear icon, click Toolbar Preferences and carefully examine your toolbar options. Pay particular attention to which radio button is ticked under Save Layout Preferences. You might want to try the second radio button. The icons you are seeing on the Yahoo toolbar probably correspond to what you get when you are signed off to Yahoo. I dont know about you, but I am sick and tired of Yahoo changing the toolbar and not documenting the change at toolbar.yahoo.com. Also Yahoo has a habit of choosing less than optimal default options and default toolbar apps. I think that the product managers head must be anatomically displaced.

When I meet with my EX? how should the situation go? Things to avoid?

In a nut shell my relationship ended last week...on really bad terms. Therefore, we havent spoke since. But we spoke today. He is in NYC for the long weekend and told me he wanted to buy me something from there and etc... and to drop it off. So, I sort of took it as an excuse for him just wanting to see me he also later admitted to this.. when we spoke... but hey I wasnt mad. lol I want to see him and just see where we stand and if at all possible to repair somethings and try again. I dont like to travel backwards because sometimes I believe most of the problems are still there... but I feel like I want to give it another go. Im not a 100% sure though. So, he is coming over on next week to bring me what he bought me and so we can talk in person. I really have no idea how its going to go. All Im going to do is be honest and just speak from my heart. Im going to try not to build up any false hope and just go with the flow. But if anyone has any pointers from being in a similar situation or anything... and/or things I should avoid saying or doing?

What is its average acceleration in m/s^2? 5. a partical at T1-1.6 is at x14.0cm and at T2 4.5 is at x28,5cm. What is its average veocity? Could you show work so i can see where it is coming from I having problems flip floping the equations in physics.
