Unfortunately, none of the websites Ive tried include a car and hotel in the package. Ive tried Travelocity, Expedia and I have an email in to Hotwires customer service. I just need any pointers on how to book all 3 items with a multi-destination flight. Thanks
Answer: I dont know how many destinations you need but Expedia does have two destination packages. But if you need more than that, you might be out of luck. If you dont want to go through all the stuff with booking everything individually you could go to a travel agent

Frequent flight detail changes from Egyptair- is this "normal"?
I booked a flight from Munich to Cairo and Cairo to Munich on Expedia about 4 mo ago. I have used Expedia many times with no problems. So, Ive gotten 2 notifications during that time that Egyptair changed the flight details. The first notification neither I nor the Expedia Customer Service staff could determine what the change actually was Now, I can see that the time of the arrivals/departures is a little different, by about 10 minutes each way. Ive travelled on Continental, Air France, Air China, and a couple other carriers before and never experienced these pre-flight itinerary changes. Is it something that is par for the course or should I be concerned? Why do they make changes like this, anyway? Is this partially due to how early we booked the flight? Just curious. Thanks for all informative answers. :
Answer: Small differences in flight times is usually due to flight rerouting and other situations usually due to air traffic control. Airline flight departures and arrivals are controlled by the air traffic control. But it has nothing to do with the airline. These are normal.. but unfortunately these show up as schedule changes but isnt alarming. Other airlines like United do even better. They change their flight numbers and schedule changes. BTW, you do know that Egyptair is a dry airline? ie they do not serve alcoholic beverages.

what flights you have taken for go to australia?
Hello, one of my next goals is Australia and I can not wait to go. For the moment I am monitoring the prices of flights. From start easily reach the international airports of Rome, Frankfurt and Paris because there are several flights daily. Consequently, I have several choices such as Sky Team, Star Alliance and One World. If I had linked directly to London Heathrow would have more possibilities. Id like take Qantas and there is a direct flight from Frankfurt to Sydney it makes a technical stop in Singapore. In fact Ill see what I can find the best price. But back to the question: I wish to know what was your experience of flights you have taken to go to Australia. I would like to know the following information for feedback: 1 How much did you pay the ticket? 2 When did you go? 3 What s the company s air / and youve got and what flights you made? For example, Milan and Singapore with Singapore Airlines, Singapore-Sydney with Qantas .. 4 How have you found with / the company / and air / and youve got? The suitcases have lost them there? How long aveate during one or more stopovers? 5 Where you purchased the ticket? For example, the companys web site, web Expedia, eDreams, etc.., Travel agency For the moment the best price it offers Air China about 1060 euros per person. But I would like to fly the new A380 and I wish fly with Singapore Airlines, Qantas or Emirates could choose two outer seats in the upper deck economy cabin. Can I find a good price? I think so. Obviously I have to do this book on the official website of the airline, which is my habit to do, so I can choose my place to check in online, etc.. Then it is clear that bad luck can happen at any time, but to book a flight with less than 2 hours of call, well, it means find it themselves PS : Why many people says : forget Qantas, its bad company? Thanks in advance
Answer: I always fly Qantas and buy my tickets through the Qantas website. Re the A380 planes. Of the three airlines you mention only Singapore Airlines offer standard economy seats on the upper deck. Emirates have only First and Business classes on the upper deck; Qantas have Business and Premium Economy. Premium Economy costs almost double the Standard Economy ticket, but the extra seat and leg room, plus other facilities, make this worthwhile. Suitcases are not lost by the airlines, but by airport baggage handlers

How much money in $US dollars do I need to stay in Thailand Koh Samui for 2 weeks?
My husband and I never got to go on a honey moon and we are now planning, FINALLY Our first amount of saving is about to come from his tax refund, so i wanted to get an idea of how much we need and other advice on traveling. We would love to stay for 2 weeks, but may just have to deal with one. There are a few key things we want to incorporate into our trip that you should keep in mind before helping us: 1. We want to go to an Elephant camp where we can interact with them. 2. We want to go diving, or snorkeling at the discovery center. 3. My husband would like to have one on one training at a Muay Thai gym, for at least 4 hours. 4. I would like to relax while he does this, possibly at a spa, if i dont think its too expensive. This is not a must for me, but he is insisting that I try it so he can go and do his fighting thing... Anyway, those are the only things we really HAVE to do... we are open to any other suggestions, and we are wondering where the cheapest air fare is going to be, from what we have seen so far the tickets from Charleston SC - Koh Samui is going to be roughly $4,000 alone according to expedia. Also give us some good hotel ideas that wont break the bank. I am curious as to seeing if we have found the least expensive way to go here.
Answer: $4000 is a stupidly high amount of money for 2 weeks I am in thailand now on a 6month holiday with my wife as our wedding present. stay for a month or 6 weeks instead for that money. First off, check ebookers or skyscanner for flights to bangkok flight comparison websites, we booked our tickets return from london to bkk 16 hours before we intended to leave as recommended by a friend and paid 300 pounds each 450 dollars. Get to bangkok, spend 2 days in a nice hotel: aircon, roomservice, double bed, cable, shower bathroom nice furniture etc $15 per night, could go cheaper but 15 is a nice place, but if youre going to be out all day anyway? I say stay in bkk bangkok because one of the best muay thai fightschools that accepts foreigners in the country is there around the corner from your hotel... about $10 for 3 hours group session, tell him to make sure his fitness level is up with circuits because thats how they will test him before they waste time with 1on1. see the bkk sights... floating market, massage 1hour 4-6 dollars, siam square shopping etc while your husband is sleeping after training which he will take an overnight air con vip bus to chiangmai in the north for $10-12 each, better hotel room than bkk for $10the north is cheaper and rent a scooter and ride into the mountains to find an actual working elephant who hasnt been trained into submission by using a length of bamboo with a nail through it to beat them you can see the clearly visable scars on the elephants at the place you mentioned. find a working elephant... one who lives and works with its mahout master clearing logs etc and offer him some money to go on a walk. my wife was as interested in this as you seem to be and said it was the best experience of her life to see an elephant that clearly wasnt depressed nor scarred and that she wasnt sitting atop a bamboo seat made for 4 americans at a time but actually sitting on top of the elephant skin to skin. the guy/mahout didnt really know what to do or speak english so we just gestured to the jungle and she rode it to a waterfall for an hour. take the same overnight bus back to bkk bkk is the transport hub for all buses and either take a flight to samui probably expensive or check into a hotel for the day and take the overnight bus to samui about 15 dollars. find a nice room, view pool, on the beach, ac, fridge cable etc for $20 per night. go out relax on the beach, get drunk etc. 660cl beer in bar is 3 dollars but free drinks are everywhere. Take the 2 hour boat ferry from samui to koh tao another island and become a diver there, where you can see whale sharks, coral reefs, clown fish etc, for $60 each per day for 2, 2-3 hour dives with one tutor between 4 of you DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING tour-wise AT HOME if you want to book it all so you have a plan and everything is organised for you do it once you get to bkk where everything will be 50% cheaper or less than doing it over the net. the hotel/resort we stayed at in samui was $25 but we saw it advertised on the internet for $115 per night good luck send me an email at mrpurcell @ hotmail . co . uk no spaces if you need any help or other info.

How can I add a travel booking engine to my travel agency website?
I want to add a travel booking engine to my travel agencys website to increase sales and for customer convenience ex. air, cruise, hotels, cars, etc. Something like on Travelocity, Expedia, Kayak, etc. You know what I mean... Anyway, are there companies that provide these services for a monthly subscription fee, for example? Ive googled but havent been able to find much of anything Thank you
Answer: Well.. you have 2 options : 1. Create your booking engine by your self in your website then your programmer should share some script to your travel agency website. Then when someone want to book, he should click reservation button then he will be redirected to your website. With your own system, you can track travel agent statistic so you can pay comission for them. 2. Join to 3rdparty booking service such as directwithhotels.com etc. It is the easy way because you only put html code to your website. I think most of them only charge per transaction base just avoid monthly subscription. Hope helps

Anyone else not getting through to Expedia.co.uk?
I know the volcanic ash cloud is unprecedented in the history of travel. I know that there are literally hundreds of thousands of travellers who have booked through Expedia.co.uk who are now stranded and trying to get answers. I know all these things. I know all these things, but it seems absolutely clear to me that Expedia has not had a contingency plan in place for dealing with a catastrophic failure of the air transport system. My emails are going unanswered and as far as phoning goes - well, you might as well forget it. I was on hold yesterday for 45 minutes with no result, and 30 minutes today. Does anyone else feel that Expedia seems to do fine when things are going well, but fails in almost every respect of reasonable customer service when things go wrong?
Answer: Me Too, I was on hold for nearly 2 hrs, loud speaker Gave up in the end, and contacted BA direct via their website. What would be great is if Expedia put more information on their website. For example, if your flight has been canceled and you would like a refund do x or if you want to change your flight do y. That would surely mean that less people would call What is really annoying is that if you call the purchasing ticket line, you dont have to wait But they cant help you and you would need to contact customer services

Did Air travel prices go up or am I looking in the wrong places?
Im totally confused. I live in NYC and Last year, my family and I booked a $200 and something dollar Jet Blue flight to Orlando Florida last year in June. It was somewhere between $200-$250 for 2 adults and 1 child, no more and no less. Were going back next month and the prices have risen DRAMATICALLY. Now, its like $200 PER PERSON, making it like $700 total Thats crazy. Ive tried Expedia, Lowfares, Orbitz, and JetBlue itself. Should I just wait a few more weeks or something? Were not supposed to go until the 3rd week of May. Im not willing to spend more than $300 for 2 adults and 1 child.
Answer: We booked directly from soutwest and got 4 adult tickets for 650 and you are allowed 2 luggages 50 pounds and under per person with no extra charges. So make sure you check the charges for luggage and some even charge for carry ons, not southwest though so that could raise the cost super high so check all that out. Dont forget cheap air also.

Traveling from Montreal to Hong Kong in August. Best to buy airfare now or wait?
I dont like sites like expedia, etc. I will book directly with Air Canada, but Ive been checking prices recently, and they seem to be going down. Right now Im looking at around $2000 with all taxes, which is a lot of money. Do you think it will be cheaper if I wait till June or July? If I end up paying like $100 more at the end its no big deal, but if I book now, then see a $500 drop, Ill be pissed off.
Answer: I am surprised that the fare is going down. This is unusual. I try to book as far in advance as I can because prices will go up the closer it gets to departure.
