Can someone please give me a list of all the schools in florida prefer miami that offer pre-dentistry as a major please thank you
Answer: Pre-dentistry is not a major. It is a group of classes which are listed on dental school websites which are required for entry to dental school. You may take the pre-dental classes at an good university. You may take any academic major for your bachelors degree. Look at the University of Miami. You may also wish to look at some of the public universities in Florida.

Dental Schools in Egypt..taught in English?
What are some Dental Schools in Egypt that teach in ENGLISH. I have been considering moving to my fathers homelandaround Cairo and studying there while really learning to read and write arabicsomething I have always wanted to learn. I also have a dream of coming back hereamerica to practice Dentistry. I will be traveling to Cairo with my family in the winter and am going to be checking out some schools while I am there. Any help/knowledge/tips would be greatly appreciated
Answer: well it depends on your financial status I gotta say. First of all, Im assuming you have Egyptian citizenship as your dads Egyptian, so that would entitle you to enroll into any of the public government owned, not the finest and most up to date, yet educationally and practically speaking the best in Egypt and the Middle East schools. Im in med school at Cairo Uni and Ive got lotsa friends here who are exactly in your position. The problem they face though is that although the syllabus itself is in English, the professors use lots of Arabic in classes given that the vast majority of the students understand Arabic so unless you learn Arabic like EXTREMELY quickly, you might fall behind. Its not a huge problem though given that Egyptian students like me :P :P are very helpful and wouldnt hesitate to help you out. On the other hand, you got the private schools, those of course are expensive anywhere from $5000-$20000 a year compared to the public schools practically free..These might not provide the excellent knowledge public schools do, but of course theyre cleaner, very up to date and very posch you get the idea :P...anyways, if you have any questions, dont hesitate to email me..Good luck :

what are the Egyptian recognized universities by Canada ?
I am an Egyptian student studying at Egypt Dentistry and I am traveling to Canada and I want to continue my education there , so are they going to be approved , I am at Misr International University , so I want to know if the Canadian universities would accept me and approve my studies in Egypt or not?
Answer: Recognition of courses completed at foreign universities happens on an individual basis - there is no overall ruling that states courses taken at X university in Egypt will be recognized at every Canadian university. You will have to contact the university you are planning to attend, and ask them if they recognize the courses you have completed.

Which University would be best for me?
I really want to find a great University for myself but i am finding it a little difficult. I have great examination results so getting in is not the problem. I want to study Dentistry but which of the following Universities is the best? University of Dundee University of Glasgow King’s College London University of Leeds Newcastle University Queen Mary, London Queen’s University Belfast Sheffield University I live in the North East of England and i do not mind moving far from home. I have looked on many different sites and they all say that all of these places are great. Please can someone tell me which of these universities have good facilities, accomodation. . . it would be a great help to me Thank you
Answer: There is only one way to decide; go and visit them and see which one takes your fancy. Dont think to hard about it. I went to Sheffield and that was a wonderful three years but they were from 84 to 87 so not much help. :-

I didnt do great in my exams, and my career path has changed?
So basically I dropped WAY below the entry requirements for my chosen course of Dentistry OR Medicine. Im not even good enough for Pharmacy yet but this is what I am hoping to do. Ive emailed around the universities that Id like to go to explaining my situation and theyre hopefully gonna get back to me about what grades I need next year. I was deeply distraught. Id been working towards this for 13 years and to think all of it has gone down the drain because of ONE set of exam results? Its harsh. Its not sunk in yet and Pharmacy is something that I wouldnt MIND doing. It has rewarding jobs at the end of it and it seems fun and challenging. My mum and dad are upset likewise because of my bad results but, everything happens for a reason right? Somehow someone somewhere made me get these results today to teach me a lesson or show me a new path. Whatever it is, from today I vow to change my life. I hope to become a dentist or doctor one day, but not for the next 4 years. Thanks for listening
Answer: This is so strange because i am in the same exact situation as you. ALthough its not just because of my exam results but also because the number of Highers i was taking. Im assuming youre from Scotland since everyone including me received there results just a couple of days ago. I am hoping that one day i can pursue my dream of becoming a doctor. Although there is no clear question to answer, If you want you can PM me and we can talk about this further :/ I am now planning to study a degree in Pharmacy or Biomedical Science then enter Medicine as a graduate. Hope this helps :

i want to become a dentist.what should i do?
I live in Egypt. I want to become a dentist.if i want to study dentistry in the USA what do i need? what is a graduate student . i mean is there something to do before entering a university. and how much will it approximately cost me?
Answer: A graduate student is someone who already has a degree. If i were you i would do a broad google search seeing which USA universitirs/colleges offer dentistry. Then ring up a selection of them, explain your situation and ask them for their entrance criteria. There may be an entrance examination depending on which colleges you choose. For international students the cost of university is a lot higher than it is for home students so if you are really sure about this then save up now If i were you then I would look to see where abouts to go in Egypt. If you really want to get out of Egypt why not try somewhere closer to home. What about the UAE?? The Gulf Medical College offer dentistry, as well as medicine if you are interested. Good luck with your search.

What do you think about my characters from their description and story idea?
Sienna Rosario is done with boys, at least for the summer. After all she is seventeen years old and has her whole life to worry about love, 3 months isn’t going to matter. Sienna came to this decision after spending six months totally in love with her boyfriend Jay Everett, only to find out that he‘s been cheating on her with Ivy Pouch and Hazel Gray for all but the first week of their relationship. Hoping to get her mind off of the whole Jay situation and earn some extra cash, Sienna gets a job as a waitress at the Blue Horizon Diner. There she meets Maude Gallagher who owns the restaurant, Raquel Clarke, Hank Norman, Erin Watson, Alyssa Taylor, and the super hot hunk Jeremiah Lane, who makes Siennas no-boy-summer quite the challenge. Bliss Bay is the town in which this story takes place. It is located on the shoreline and has many tourists during the summer. Businesses in Bliss Bay include the Blue Horizon Diner, a gas station called Gas ‘n Grub, Sunrise Plaza which has the beauty salon called Snip In A Snap Salon, the trendy boutique called Mystic’s, a furniture store called Fawn’s Furniture, and a dentist office called Bliss Bay Family Dentistry Neill Ingalls D.D.S. It also has a movie theater called Bliss Bay Cinema, a bowling alley called the Lucky Strike Bowling Alley, a hip club called Ecstatic, a bar called Porky’s Pub, a hardware store called Handyman’s Hardware, a pizza place called Pirate Pete’s Pizzeria, and an ice cream shack called Dairy Barn. The high school is Bliss Bay High School and their mascot is the barracuda. Sienna Rosario 17- Sienna is the new waitress at the Blue Horizon Diner. She has blonde curly hair and gray eyes. She is slim and toned. Sienna lives with her father Pete Rosario, her mother Danielle Rosario, and her younger brother Max Rosario 15. Jay Everett 17- Jay is Sienna’s recently ex-boyfriend. He and Sienna had been dating for six months, when she found out he had been cheating on her. He has short, black hair, brown eyes, and is very muscular. Ivy Pouch 16- Ivy is one of the girls that Jay was seeing behind Sienna’s back. She has red hair and green eyes, and is very short, but still slender. Hazel Gray 15- Hazel is one of the girls that Jay was seeing behind Sienna’s back. She has black hair and blue eyes. She is tall, with really long legs, and has an athletic body type. Maude Gallagher 50- Maude owns and manages the Blue Horizon Diner. She fills in as a cook/waitress/bus“woman”/hostess as needed. She has short and curly red hair, green eyes, and is rather plump. She is quite eccentric and her whimsical actions and odd sayings keep the rest of the staff at Blue Horizon Diner on their toes. She loves to joke around and does her best to keep her employees happy and in a good mood. She was once married to a man she refers to as Huffy, but says that the Blue Horizon employees are the closest thing to a family she’s ever had, with the exception of her brother Roy and her niece Erin. Raquel Clarke 21- Raquel is a waitress at the Blue Horizon Diner. She is very beautiful, but has a red scar just above her right eyebrow. Her hair is a honey blonde and her eyes are a dark blue. She is very tall and slender. She is usually nice and helps Sienna out a lot while she is learning the ropes. She also argues with Jeremiah like a brother and sister would. She moved to Bliss Bay with her boyfriend Ryan Lowe right after graduation and hopes to get married and raise a family here. She gets engaged during the story. Hank Norman 47- Hank is the head chef at the Blue Horizon Diner. He is dark skinned, short, almost bald though he‘s often wearing a hat, and overweight. He doesn’t speak great English. He is very protective over the diner and the Blue Horizon staff. He is divorced, and has two kids. A son named Nick and a daughter named Shelly, who is planning her wedding to a guy named Juan. He often laughs at his own jokes, which only he usually gets. Erin Watson 16- Erin is the hostess at the Blue Horizon Diner and the niece of Maude. Erin is spending the summer with her Aunt Maude and got put to work at the diner. It is her first job and she is trying to do a good job. Erin has long brown hair and brown eyes. She is very petite and has freckles all over her face. She is really sweet, but quiet and shy. Alyssa Taylor 18- Alyssa is a waitress at the Blue Horizon Diner. She is pretty and has bleached blonde hair and brown eyes. She is average height and curvy. She is very moody and doesn’t keep it a secret that she doesn’t like Sienna. However, she does keep it a secret why she dislikes Sienna. Until Sienna got there, Alyssa was the one Jeremiah always flirted with, and Alyssa is into Jeremiah. Now Jeremiah pays more attention to Sienna, and that is not okay with Alyssa. Alyssa tries to make Jeremiah jealous by flirting with the customers, especially the young and attractive ones. Jeremiah Lane 18- Jeremiah is the assistant chef at the Blue Horizon Diner, but he fills in for Hank when needed. He has medium blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. His secret weapon is a half smile that he gives to girls to make their knees so weak. He argues with Raquel over stupid things and used to flirt pretty regularly with Alyssa, although he was never really into her. He is however, into Sienna, but he doesn’t know about her no-boy-summer. He does crazy things to try to get her attention and flirts nonstop with her.
Answer: This story reminds me of all the reasons why I waited until I was 20 to start dating. I think this story all depends on where youre going with it. I personally think if its intended to be a serious story, youll end up with just another 1 in a million teen romance stories with flat characters. If you make it into a romantic comedy, I think these characters will do just fine, just poking fun at the rediculousness of teen romances, itll probably work. Personally the big thing that keeps me from taking this serious is the whole "No-boy-summer" thing. It just sounds kind of silly. Most people, when that happens, dont set a time when to start dating again. They either start dating immediately on the rebound, or they give themselves however much time they need to heal.

Is it worth going to School to be a Dental Assistant?
I want to become a dental assistant and them maybe in the future hygienist, is that a good career move? Im a stay at home mom now, so being a mom is most important and Ive heard dentistry is good on hours and pay. Any suggestions welcome.
Answer: I would go for the hygiene route right away. They make much more money. You can get a dental assistant job without having a degree in it I was offered a job and I have a psychology degree only. Id recommend taking classes towards dental hygiene- and then apply to dental assistant jobs while in school. Maybe you can work p/t. If they see that you are in school for dental hygiene, that might up your chances of getting hired.

What happens with invisalign after you get done with treatments?
Do they give you a retainer to wear for the rest of your life and/or at night, to maintain the teeth in their position? I have some pretty drastic changes...and Im going to try to get an exam soon at a local facility, where they have general dentists and also do cosmetic dentistry and invisalign. They are a state of the art place with all of the best and newest technology. I know they will answer more questions when I get there and have my exam. Im congentially missing two upper front and lower front teeth the two lower front are baby teeth that never got pushed out by adult teeth, since the adult teeth never existed - these baby teeth will lively have to be pulled in the future. Upper and lower implants seem to be an option in the future. If I can get them, it looks like the pros of invisalign including being able to floss/brush without hinderance outweigh that of regular braces. I already get lots of canker sores...and I know regular braces would probably cause me to have a massive amount due to the rubbing in the mouth, even with the "wax" they give. An ortho told me that I needed a $50,000 procedure due to a cross-bite where my upper teeth were behind my lower teeth by a few millimeters...but on the website of this local facility, it says invisalign corrects those types of misalignments due to jaw issues.
Answer: You dont really seem very eligable to get Invisalign but you can always go and ask them about it. I know my dentist said that they cant give them to you unless you have all your adult teeth grown in. Im not sure how that works with implants, the website doesnt say anything about that so youll definitely have to talk to them about it. Invisalign works the best with minor cases, I have a more so difficult case with having my front two teeth tipped back and the two teeth beside are tipped forward. This would only be 1 year of braces so you can see that it isnt really that difficult of a case since people wear braces for years. As for the canker sores...Invisalign does give you those. When I first got mine I had cuts in the back of my mouth where the trays end and canker sores all over the inside of my lips. I still have a good 5 sores in my mouth and had to get a mouth wash that works for bleeding gums and canker sores because of the pain that I was in when I took them out. Unfortunately there is no wax to solve this problem. Depending on your age your jaw alignment may or may not be the best with Invisalign. I have a division 2 over bite and my dentist told me that he would on;y be able to move it about a millimeter with Invisalign. He said if I was really worried about my bite I would go with braces because they work better with bite problems. Im 20 so if your 20 or over this will most likely be the same for you. And what happens after treatment is they will remove the attachments like how they remove the brackets from braces and then give you a retainer to wear to make sure your teeth dont shift. It is just like braces in that aspect. I will be getting a permanent retainer like my sister did after she got her braces removed and then a clear retatiner as well.
