Periodontal Recession of gumline?
I have suffered this condition due to neglect and have a question to ask. Is it theoretically possible to regrow the loss of bone under the gum line enabling gums to regrow around the teeth to their original level? I was not aware of important dental health on no fault of my own and since learning have relentlessly kept my mouth clean and tidy. It seems unfair that I have lost gum tissue and are unable to regrow it back, especially now knowing that if I still had most of my gums I would have flawlessly clean teeth and gums. My question is, is it possible to regrow the bone by say use of implemented stem cells to force the bone to grow? I know this question is asking a lot of theoretical implications, and any dental expertise will be greatly appreciated. One day we will have the technology to do this easily, so why not start now. Is this possible?
Answer: No, bone tissue does not grow back in this case. Bone grafts, non bone grafts and matrix proteins are several meterials which may be used to fill up osseous cavities. Grafting is difficult when it comes to periodontal defects. The material may become encapsulated over time or even dissolve. So the predictability here is an uncertain factor in reconstructive periodontal surgery.

How do I get my mare to stop biting the bit, and go straight?
I have the stubbornest little appy mare, and she has chewed the bit as long as I can remember. I know she came from ignorant people that had her in a western leverage bit but put it on her upside down. Anyway, when we ride, she turns her head to the right and grabs the bit on the left side she rolls it up with her tongue onto her teeth. She just had a dental exam and he said everything is where it should be and in good condition. I know this is not her innocently chewing the bit. She does not bend well under saddle to the left but bends fine to the right under saddle as well as both directions on the ground. Also, she will NOT go in a straight line. I can get her ears, shoulders, and hips all aligned but she still will either drift left or occasionally right. Obviously you would think to use your leg to push her back onto the track, but then its just back and forth between your legs doing a zig-zag. p.s. she is is a regular snaffle bridle with n average loose-ring. a few weeks ago, she was in the same bridle with a kimberwicke to correct issues of her speed.
Answer: I agree with Heidi but i would also like to make another suggestion and that is to try her out in a bitless bridle we have ranch horses 2 of which work in theses like a hackamore i just cant think of the name haha memory block.. any way we found that our horses that kept "chopping the bit" worked alot better in this. give it a try it cant hurt and i would bet that it will actually help Good Luck

My boyfriend says my breath smells really sickly sweet...?
There is no history of diabetes or anything, and I have none of the other symptoms. It just seems to come and go, even when I havent eaten anything sweet. I dont drink either. There seem to be a lot of serious conditions with the sickly sweet breath tag on them, but I want to know if anyone else experiences this. Oh, and my dental hygiene is fine, I brush and floss regularly, with dental visits too.
Answer: just get some gum or something :

What is the point of going to work?
I live my life living on unemployment benefits, and I love it so much I get free dental treatment to keep my teeth in tip top condition after all the drink I have every night. Plus, there are a load of freebies on the floor if you keep your eyes peeled. I find an extra £1.27 an hour and free cigarette stumps on the floor to make rollies with. Also, asking for the odd 20p never hurt me as well. Im living life to the full, why should I work?
Answer: Because every other person that does work is paying taxes to keep you, and why the hell would you want to pick up dirty cigarettes off the floor, that is disgusting GO TO WORK

What do I need to keep my braces in perfect condition?
I got my braces this morning and i know everything to help clean my teeth but im not sure i have all of it. heres what i have so far from my orthodontist: 1 new tooth brush 2 Proxybrush/proxabrush 3 floss 4 super floss 5 travel tooth brush 6 Sensodyne tooth paste with fluoride 7 wax ok guys idk if i need a timer or dental mirror or anything else like a water pik or anything what ever just comment below. thanks:
Answer: I suggest just brushing and using mouthwash in the morning you dont want to waste too much time because you might need to get ready for school/work, or whatever. At night, however, go through your entire routine with brushing, then using your proxybrush when you still have toothpaste in your mouth, rinse, then floss and use mouthwash. If you ever have problems with the brackets and it hurts, then cover it with a small amount of wax until your next orthodontist appointment. Also, avoid really hard foods, like biting directly into apples, these could brake a bracket. Hope this helps

I started this little bit of a story. Should I continue writing it?
George Washington actually looks pretty good with a mustache, Clara Woodhull frequently found herself thinking, particularly on Wednesdays, when she sat in the poorly air conditioned storeroom and examined used textbooks for recycling. That was not technically part of her job description, but it was a task unfairly designated to her as she had only been working with Birch & Hale Library for several weeks when “Distribution of Used Textbooks” was added to the roster. She was still adamantly a librarian. She tossed the book she had been looking at into the Unusable pile and rubbed her eyes. So far, Clara had seen important historical figures quoting popular rap songs, dragons eating the Pythagorean Theorem, and stick figures skateboarding around octagons. She wondered whether restraining oneself from defiling educational tools was really as difficult as all that and tossed several American History volumes into the trash pile without even looking at them. “Naughty, naughty,” she heard from the door. Steven was a particularly vile librarian whom Clara was convinced only worked there for the dental plan and availability of young female students to harass. “You wanna do this?” she spat. “It’s incredibly annoying. You’d love it.” Steven sauntered over to her, pushing back his impeccably groomed hair and smirking. “Now, now, young thing,” he said contemptuously. “I’d love to sit here and sweat with you over this truly grueling work which, by the way, you seem incapable of doing whole-heartedly, but my job is to handle the patrons, you see. You are hardly a people-person, dear.” He leaned on the table Clara used as a work desk so that his face was in her direct line of sight. She stared blankly into his eyes and waited for him to go on. Clearly disappointed that she was not going to play along, Steven continued. “I’m here to inform you that Mr. Assistant Director died in a car wreck this morning and the library is closing for the day. We just can’t function without the man, apparently.” Clara had known Nathan Whitney for the better part of a week, but his death came as a slight shock. He had struck her as the kind of man who went about his business in his starched shirts and expensive suits, never bothering anyone or doing anything interesting. Still, she supposed, a life was a life, and his was over. “So we can go home now?” she asked. “Yes, after you’re done mourning, that is,” Steven said slowly. “Why don’t you come over to my place. My friends and I have a bet, you see― “ “Sorry, Steven,” Clara said hastily, gathering her purse and coat. “I’d really rather die in a burning school bus.” “Yeah well, maybe next time, then,” Steven called after her as she hurried from the room. What would you edit, Campbell? Dont worry about offending me. I need opinions; thats why I posted this.
Answer: Oh my goshh this is obviously fantastic and i dont say this on here often u can check my recently answered Qs for proof hah] u seem like a really mature writer, the conversation was intriguing and witty. I loved the banter between Clara and Steven. His personality was hilarious, the way he talked, and his snooty attitude i honestly visualized the entire thing. My favorite part was the : Sorry, Steven,” Clara said hastily, gathering her purse and coat. “I’d really rather die in a burning school bus.” icing on the cake. If you ever write more of this please post it for me to read, i love ur writing style and i honestly have nothing to critique which is kinda sad cus i love giving advice if this was a book, id buy it. Your story has me craving more...keep writing and good luck

Info on the Army/Marines please and thanks?
Im 18 years old, and have my GED. I understand the economy is currently in deep crud. I also understand joining the Military is a good option in this time. Im pretty sure there are more career opportunities in the army, but to make sure, what one has more? If the Marines were in battle with an enemy, would the group of marines have a better chance of surviving rather than a group of army soldiers? How are living conditions for Army soldiers compared to Marines? I still need to take the asvab, but if i score poorly on the mechanical and electronic parts and do good on the math parts, what job categories am i looking at? If i wanted to become a dentist for the Army, and had no prior knowledge to dental work, would they train me to become one? If you fail in basic training, is that basically a dishonorable discharge? Im not worried about basic training, i think it will be fun.. im just saying hypothetically. Do they pay for my family to come visit me? details would be nice thank you. Do people smoke weed on their free time? or like before they go to sleep etc? i know drinking is big in the service, but would i get in trouble being under the age of 21 and drinking on spare time? i heard it is ok aslong as i dont get completely smashed. info from experience would be nice. any additional information/tips/advice would be highly appreciated because i know i have alot more questions in the back of my mind, i just wont remember till a later on....
Answer: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_yltAgMBdEUcL2yIgEfAQ3P01qjty6IX;_ylv3?qid20100716082618AA1muZg&show7profile-info-g4H8G30Vaa Try that link first; then; The service will not pay for your family to see you. If you fail basic you will get a a Honorable, General Discharge or a Chapter for failure to adapt. Unless you are a DDS you will not go to school in the service to become one. No one smokes anything anymore since the mid -80s. No smoking. No weed/drugs. No dipping. You will not be able to purchase alcohol until you turn 21 unless you go to another country like Germany. If you get a tattoo on a weekend pass during your last few weeks of basic you will be charged with the destruction of government property and failure to obey a lawful order because they will warn you of everything so you dont get stupid while on pass. The Marines and Army train about the same. Fighting and surviving are two different things. Both will have about the same skillsets but some luck would help a great deal.

Adult teeth are loose and wobbly. Reasons why?
I have long since grown out of my baby teeth, but I have braces; I noticed yesterday that I had some swelling and irritated gum, and that my teeth wobbled back and forth. Is this because of my braces, or is it a more serious dental condition?
