When I was little 4-9 I told my mom my dad has been hitting us but Ive been thinking if it is even child abuse of what he did. If we did something bad in public he would take our arm really hard that it would actually hurt bad that he was grabbing so hard and he would take us into somewhere and smack us or punch us somewhere, usually the face or the head.. Another time my brother didnt do something fast enough when my dad asked and he took my brother and kept grabbing and pushing his head against the door really hard One day when me and my brother came home we had huge black and blue bruises all up his and my legs from my dad slapping us or pinching us somewhere There is alot more stuff I forget but Ill try to remember was this child abuse or not because Im starting to feel bad because it sounds like it wasnt

do you think the food stamp program should be altered slightly?
i was never a grocery shopper..my aunt can spend half a day exploring and tasting and reading labels..its an adventure for this 84 yr old that loves to eat. it was always in and out quick for me. my mother can no longer shop because of her dementia [she would come back home with a strange assortment]. now i read the flyer..study it and make decisions like a stock market analyst. if its not on sale...i dont buy it.im pretty pleased with myself shopping on senior day and using coupons and asking the butcher what the best deal is.....i noticed a few days ago ..a woman in line that was heavy with long hair and a daughter with the same description. the conveyor belt was laden with beef,beef and more beef. steaks,roasts and big slabs of 2 inch beef,cakes,pies,cookies and pastries and a couple of cases of [pricey] bottled water....no fruit,no veggies and i thought..g-d please forgive me...food stamps sure enough the register flat screen said food stamps 185.00$. my concern is that dont you think that the policy should be fruit,veggies,limited meat and grains? and if needing sweets..let people bake them...am i being insensitive?.i feel for the child..she was so heavy.i know that many people do not abuse the system but i see so many follow in the foot steps of the beef cake lady. i know carbs are filling but i usually see lots of processed food..and why should the government pay for chips and soda. we all need food treats...but boy..do i see unhealthy eating for people receiving assistance. i have no idea what this womans food stamp monthly amount was could be more..you dont have to spend it all at once..its like a debit card now. this comment was posted as some think her monthly allowence was 185.00..i was just looking at the bizarre selection of food she chose for a woman that is supposed to feed her family on assistance..and believe fruit veggie,grains and select meat should be the requirement by gov. standards
Answer: The food stamp program needs to be overhauled greatly. With bar codes on all the items, many can be excluded. Like soda, pastries and potato chips. The biggest problem is that most of those using food stamps wont cook. How hard is it to bake potatoes, make rice or boil an egg? How hard is it to heat a can or a frozen bag of vegetables? We send flour, rice and cooking oil overseas to starving people who fight over them. My parents went to Romania with a relief mission and when they gave a bag of sugar to a woman, she made them stay until she came back with her arms full of flowers to thank them. She cut all the flowers in her garden. Could I feed a family on $185 a month? You d--mned well better believe I can. Theyll be eating meat loaf with eggs in it instead of steak. Plenty of potatoes and rice. Roast chicken with chicken salad sandwiches the next day and chicken soup the day after. Oatmeal with milk and sugar and a boiled egg for breakfast. No soda, no candy. I was in a group that had a retreat one weekend a year and I fed them a good breakfast on eggs, flour, whole milk, butter to fry it in and cheap jams and syrup for toppings. Up to 40 or 50 people. I did it myself, all of the cooking, and Im a man. Protein, carbs, dairy...it was a complete and nutritious breakfast and everybody loved it. Decades ago, my mother and her friend took advantage of a mail-in offer that would give a weeks menu according to what your budget was. People today, especially the filthy ones, dont even know what a budget is. My mother, feeding five, got a reasonable menu. It was heavy on things like meat loaf, mashed potatoes and spaghetti. Her friend was told that it was impossible to feed her family on so little money, but she had been doing it for years. That was in the 1960s and they didnt get food stamps. These people need to be starved into learning how to take care of themselves. First, take away the sugar unless its in a bag. I grew up with Kool-aid and home made lemonade and iced tea. We even drank reconstituted powdered milk because it was cheaper. Second, only the cheapest meat. Steak is for those who are successful, and if youre using food stamps you havent been successful. Third, no bottled water. I can go farther but if these people starve under such mild constraints its their own fault and good riddance.

Ok. So my girlfriends been being abused since a young age. At one point her aunt not of blood was out with her one day -my girlfriend being ten years old at the time- and was reportedly acting strangely. When asked about what was wrong she would clam up. Eventually she opened up to her aunt and pushed aside her hair to reveal a large bruise upon her forehead. To make a long story sort, her aunt took her to see a doctor/ counselor who called in her mom and told her that if anything along those lines ever happened again, CPS would be notified. Remember now, my gf was only ten at the time and her mother is a very manipulative women. After this her mother severed all Communications she was having with her aunt and branching family... This affected my gf in that her mother told her, because you told them, now you lose them Shes 17 going on 18,only months away, but i fear the worst is too come. Shes recently within the past 3 years been allowed to see her other family members again. But shes still like a small child in that when ever i tell her to stop taking the constant abuse, whether it be physical, mental, or verbal... she forbids it completely fearing her mother will once again take away those she lovesIncluding me It crushes me to see her in this possition but i cant do a damned thing until i have more information. Im worried as she gets nearer and nearer to hitting 18, her mothers going to really hurt her one day.... This haunts my thoughts everyday..... what proof do i need to prove abuse?
hello. i am married to a u.s. citizen and have a 13 month old son with him. he is verbally and physically abusive. i tried to work it out with him and i have been trying to find a way to change my expired visa status without him. i have print outs of him instant messaging me with threats to hurt me, take our child away from me and deporting me. he got severely abusive when i came to him questioning his faithfulness to the marriage and also with finances. if i even try to divorce him, he continues with the threats. i have called the police twice, been to the hospital with injusires and there are reports. is this enough to be considered a battered spouse and find some sort of immigration help? im scared theyll say no and hell find out and be ten times worse. im asking this because there is a visa given to battered undocumented spouses. but its always very hard to prove abuse.

Why do many feminists defend women having more power than men yet hate when men have more power than women?
I ask a question about fathers not having equal rights under the law as women and pointed out that these right are new and were lobbied for by feminists. Why is that men talk about Fathers Rights the common response is "women give birth so should have more say", "get over it" etc.. etc.. Why is there a dismissal of women abusing power over men and also harming children but they want men to be for giving up our power and go into a frenzy when men have even the slightest amount of say over a woman? Is this hypocrisy not nauseating to anyone else who is actually for equality?

Some feminists believe that men inherently have psychological power over women, because every woman knows that you are physically stronger than her, and that if you chose to beat her up, or rape her, then she couldnt stop you They never notice that your physical power cannot be used, because it would land you in jail. Socialist feminist theory basically stands for the idea that women need more legal rights than men do, so that women can be just as intimidating to men as men are to some women.
