Would it be dumb to get my hips pierced if im kinda chubby?
Im like 155 pounds, and like 56 but you cant even tell i weight that much. Im just a little chunky and i really wanna get 3 dermal anchors on my right hip. like in a line. what is plugs earring piercing aftercare?

Answer: My plugs dont ever smell. Is that weird? But i take care of them. I clean them everytime I shower. I use antibacterial soap most of the time. Do not use peroxide in the hole of you ear because it is not a wound. I use stuff called emu oil to make them not smell sometimes. You shouldnt have to clean them every single day, but cleaning them every other day will prevent the smell.

Dos & Donts with a new belly button piercing?
My boyfriend took me to get my belly button pierced yesterday & My piercer told me to use polyspron after cleaning my belly button piercing with soap & water. But I just read on a website that you shouldnt do that. I bought some non-scented soap, because they didnt have any anti-bacterial where I went. Should I go buy some? Is it it a big concern? Also, how long should I wait to change it, 3-4 weeks? or 3-4 months? Im just being really cautious because I dont want it to get infected. Im worried to take a shower/bath because I dont want my shampoo products to get in there. & Also my piercing is kind of going crooked.. any tips about that?
Answer: I do need to tell you that your piercer is completely unprofessional and incorrect in his information to you. He gave you a list of things to do, which in fact you should NOT be doing. - Polyspron is basically like Neosporin. YOU NEVER use these ointments on a piercing. NEVER. These ointments actually TRAP bacteria in the piercing and will infect you. Do not use any "ointment" or "antisceptic, antibacterial" cream. These healing ointments will actually try to heal the piercing and close it, and thats not what you want happening, and the ring could actually get stuck in your skin this way. - Secondly, soap is A NO-NO huge no-no. You will definitely irritate it. I got mine done 7 years ago and my piercer at that time told me to wash it out with antibacterial original Dial liquid soap. I used that every single day in the shower, lathered and twisted the ring around. It never got infected, it would get irritated fairly frequently during the healing process, but now they tell you that antibacterial soap is NO GOOD because it gets rid of the bad bacteria as well as the good cells that need to be there to promote healing. Instead of any soap, you want to wash your piercing with a saline soak for five to ten minutes once or more per day - invert a cup of warm saline solution over the area to form a vacuum. My piercing literally took 9 months to heal fully. It was the most painful and longest healing process. Its going to take a while to heal also because it is located in your midsection and you will constantly be moving, bending, stretching, etc. Just know that this is normal. A belly ring heals anywhere from 6-12 months. No sooner than that so dont be fooled. The belly ring heals from the OUTSIDE in, so if it looks nice on the outside, dont think its healed inside, b/c the inside is still a red, gaping open wound. Do NOT attempt to change the ring for at least 6 months. You really want it to be towards the end of the healing process before you try to change it. It will prevent excess scarring if you just leave it alone and dont mess with it. Also, dont be scared to take a shower. Its perfectly fine and its actually good for the piercing because youre going to notice "crusties" yellowish oozing coming from the piercing and it dries onto the ring and it can be painful if you move and the ring sticks to this crust and rips. So you wanna make sure to wash that all off in the shower, twist the ring around the hole entirely when you shower, make sure to get all soap and suds out of it so you dont get irritated. I dont know what to tell you about your "crooked" piercing because I dont see a picture of it, but theres a chance you had a crappy piercer who pierced you crookedly. I really wouldnt be surprised if this were the case because of the lack of proper care information he gave you. And if thats the case there isnt anything you can do except take it out, let it heal and have it re-pierced by a professional who knows how to correctly line up the marker dots. There is a really good spray you should get, its a salt water spray called H20cean. Its an aftercare spray that will promote healing. Also, you can go and get a Vitamin E oil. It is a vitamin which will prevent scarring, keep the piercing lubricated so the ring cant stick to your skin and it wont infect the piercing. Lube the whole ring up on a daily basis. You want to avoid oceans and pools at this time too. They are swimming with nasty bacteria and thats asking for infection. Just know that its going to be months before you have a nice piercing. Its going to get very ugly before it turns into the cute piercing you see everyone with. Itll be red, tender, oozing, sometimes bleed, sore, mine for a few weeks developed a red ball at the top of the piercing, that is normal, just keep soaking it, and applying vitamin E. Good luck

I got my cartilage piercing yesterday and its healin fine, but its starting to have other problems?
I got it with a needle and it is a gold earing which people said was more sanitary, and I think it is because its hardly hurting right now but the problem is that I started havin irritations inside my ear and I cant see the hole. The biggest problem is i cannot see the whole. And the lady who pierced told me not to move around the earing so I cant move it but Im scared because I cant see the hole. I am wearing a ring like thing.

Industrial & dermal piercing?
So I want those soo bad Im 14. & I already have my belly button pierced. So comparing to that how much does the industrial & hips hurt? I had my cartilage pierced but took it out. So Im wanting my industrial. Which I know for a fact I am getting. I heard it hurts... & Im not THAT worried about it. I can usually take pain really well. & I do underStand itll hurt like a afterwords. Now the dermals. The only problem I have with them in they Re kinda like permanent like. Because you have to go get them taken out. & just thinkin on the future that scares me. I mean I am mixed and I will scar easy but I hears it doesnt leave that bad of a mark. So Im not getting the surface cause they are temporary. But about how bad do they hurt & healing time? & those kinda do scare me Okay, my typing is not right because I was using an iPhone, and sadly enough YA doesnt have a mobile site thank you.
Answer: Industrail doesnt hurt at all just burns a tad when you go out into the cold straight after having it. Please think seriously about dermals i really regret mine. I have 12 in the shape of a heart on my back with mum tattooed in the middle, i am in the process of trying to find someone who can get the fers out They stop me from doing loads: having a shower hair gets caught wearing strapless tops hair gets caught wearing racer back tops, cant have my hair down, have to put my hair up for bed, everytime someone hugs my i am parraniod they will catch them, the tags on tops get caught on the, have to cover them in bed cuz the tiniest bit of thread catches them, and the list goes on... piercer was happy enough to put them in £30 a time and wont take them out, hospital wont take them out bcuz they arnt infected. And yes THEY ARE THE MOST PAINFUL THING I HAVE EVER FELT i am 18 and have about 30 piercings including them and i cried every time i had one done and i had numbing cream and spray Mine healed in about 2 months but as i said i keep catching them but i have resorted to trying to get them out myself with my mums help. Would it hurt more to get a tatoo of your name on ur back or belly pierced?
Answer: my belly button is done and the top doesnt hurt at all, the bottom is the worst piercing i have ever had. i have had my: septum lip cartlage belly and ears done. but i love the pain. and knowing how cute it is is great. although my septum wasnt too great[: so a tattoo would deff. hurt more. because its a constant needle going in and out when a belly button being pierced is just a hollow needle for like a min. at most .
