Answer: I may not know of a good one to recommend to you, but I most certainly know of a bad one that I’d like to warn you about just in case you stumble upon their information so that you can avoid them at all costs. I have a business in which, at the time, I needed someone to build my site. I solicited the help of Content Media Group located in the Houston/College Station area. Steve LaSalle, the CEO of this company was my specific point of contact and decided to personally take on my project. Throughout my time working with Steve I found him to be short with me, rude, and have little integrity when it came to doing what he said he was going to do. He was a “bully” in trying to do what HE wanted to do for MY project instead of him trying to meet client satisfaction. Steve LaSalle made promises he couldnt’t keep and in the end I ended up paying him much more than he deserved just so that I could be done with the nightmare of working with Content Media Group. Now I am stuck having to look elsewhere to find someone who can fix the things that Steve couldn’t do and left incomplete on my site. I said all this to say, don’t get involved with Steve LaSalle or Content Media Group.

Does designers should consider about designing a building as work of art?

Answer: Architects should try to strike a balance between form and function: that is, the building should be both functional and comfortable in terms of human use and pleasant or interesting to look at, both inside and out. A building must work well in its environment, but it can positively alter and improve that environment if it is both attractively and creatively designed; it can make us think, it can increase our enjoyment of the location, it can stimulate the eyes and the mind, just as any other work of art can do. In many ways, architecture functions the same way as public sculpture does, and architects know this. They could simply design purely functional boxes that would serve their basic purposes well, but that wouldnt do much for the human experience of the landscape or cityscape. To be genuinely and fully effective, a building design needs to comprise some artistic creativity.

With your new found business savvy you have decided to take on the challenges of becoming an entrepreneur and have opened a Marketing and Communications firm call ‘Rev Communications’. The Rev Business model involves creating marketing plans and consulting businesses on what their advertisements, promotions and marketing messages should be to optimize their marketing expenditures. You have surveyed the local market, secured the funding, leased a building and have the foundation in place to start your company and make big dollars. Now you must take on Human Resource activities. You will require a staff of six people; Two business development officers to find, meet and communicate with clients. Business development employees should have in-depth experience in networking with private businesses and governments and must be very strong with communication skills; one to one conversations, group meetings, presentations, interacting with government officials, etc. BD officers must also be well-organized, be clean cut and presentable and must also be willing to travel extensively. One BD officer will be the senior development boss with the second person serving as supporting staff. Three graphic designers to develop concepts, sketch ideas, develop marketing slogans, etc. Graphic Designers must be well schooled and experienced in all the latest IT programs and technologies ‘photoshop’, adobe PDF readers, publisher, etc and industry experience is a huge advantage. Designers must be reachable 24-7 as customers requiring communications are usually demanding and make requests at the ‘last minute’. The designers should know how to design logos, be creative with slogans, be highly skilled with printers and scanners and should also be frugal in using company resources paper, colored ink, etc.. Rev communications will have a senior graphic designer in charge of all concept development, followed by a junior designer. The third designer will be a young student, preferably directly from school with little experience and lots of energy who can be paid a very modest wage to save company costs. An office assistant to manage calls, emails, pay bills, monitor spending and budgets, etc. There is no requirement for this person to have communications/marketing experience as they will deal with generic office administration matters. This person should be experienced in an office setting and comfortable with managing and flagging budget lines. The office assistant must also be efficient and effective in letter drafting, file management, email correspondence, preparing mail-outs and invoices, handling logistics for meetings and conferences, etc. Given the positions above, answer the following questions; A. What would your recruiting strategy be for the Business Development, Graphic Design and Office Manager positions? Where would you post the job offerings? Would your recruiting be internal or external? B. How would you select your human resources – using interviews, tests online or paper? Explain. C. An important HR consideration is evaluating your Rev employees. Answer: Low prices probably equal low quality. I would go to www.dynamicbrides.com A friend of mine sent a magazine photo of a gown worth over $2000, and they were able to custom make it for $549. These guys are the real deal, lol. I have worked in the bridal industry for over 7 years, and the gown that she recieved was very high and designer quality. Dont risk looking cheap on the most special day of your life. There should be a phone number on their website. I hope this helps : If my word means anything, lol.

Skills involved becoming web designer/developer, how does it all work/relate together?
Which are , broken down and shown how they relate to each other??? Im a global learner, ie need to see the big picture first otherwise my mind wonders into other unrelated creative areas Like... Photoshop used to build the design of the webpage, what the site visitor sees CSS and Xhtml for? how does this work with the images? Whats this scriptiing I read about, what does that interact with? How does flash work with these? etc Basically whats the big picture of how to create a fully functioning good website. Im just able to find bits and pieces but it doesnt mention how it all relates to each other. Breaking it down into levels, would be AWESOME Many thanks.
Answer: Well you would need to be proficient in a few graphics programs such as the adobe photoshop, fireworks, and illustrator, or also corell draw, to make graphics. If you want it to run things that are user interactive you need to be good with javascript or flash. You need to know HTML and CSS for making the website and its contents. If you want people to email directly from the website to you, you need to know php, or use a cgi bin. There are things people like to have on their sites such as wordpress for blogging and being able to log into the site with a username and password. You would need to know how to customize themes and do what people want to them. There are a few things for you to start learning. There are many more, but there is a few to start.

How can i calculate the amount of bricks which i need to build an inner wall?
it is not a homework ,i`m interior designer but i`m too weak in math`s stuff
Answer: one is for wall ...then do you want to having facing with tiles....for bricks ....length of wall x hieght of wall x thickness of wall......in inches .../ lehgth of brick [9in] x width of brick [4in ] x thickness of brick [3in].....will give the no of bricks....+ some unforeseen for defective bricks ...or bricks gets broken partially ...during work ......this is valid for above the groungd level ........as under the ground level is more thick than upper wall......normally inside is 13 in to 18 inch ....thick ,...then upper is lifted by 9 inch wall.................for facing donot take into account thickness
